Cash out your earnings daily with Flex Pay
Accessing your earnings is simple—you can use Flex Pay to cash out your earnings immediately. Instead of receiving your earnings weekly, you can transfer your earnings to your bank account, up to once per day.
How Flex Pay works
In the Driver app
You can tap the 'Earnings' tab in the Driver app menu.

What else should I know?
Eligibility: To be eligible for Flex Pay, you must have completed at least 25 Uber trips and your Uber account must be active for at least 14 days since your first trip with Uber.
Deposit delay: Flex Pay earnings will be deposited into your preferred bank account on the same business day if you cash out before 8pm EST. After this time, it will be received the next business day.
- What is the difference between Flex Pay and Instant Pay via Payfare?
Flex Pay is an Uber feature that enables you to request a deposit of your earnings, up to once per day, with your current registered bank account—at no cost. The earnings deposit will occur on the same business day if you cash out before 8pm EST. After this time, it will be received the next business day.
Instant Pay is an external solution provided by our partner Payfare. It requires you to sign up and update your bank information. You can request a same-day deposit of your earnings up to 5 times a day.

- Why am I not eligible?
Aside from not meeting the eligibility criteria mentioned above, you may not be eligible for Flex Pay if your account is under review for a security risk or if you're currently enrolled with Instant Pay via Payfare. If you wish to cancel your enrollment with Payfare, you should then be able to join Flex Pay. To learn more about cancellation, you can visit https://uber.payfare.com/ca/contact. You can re-enroll in Instant Pay at any time through Payfare.
Drivers in Toronto paying for a rental with Autzu are not eligible.
- What can be cashed out to me?
Trip fares, tips, promotions and additional surge fares can be cashed out to you via Flex Pay.
- Is there a fee to use Flex Pay?
No, there's no fee to use Flex Pay.
- Why can't I see one of my cash outs?
Promotional earnings are currently not part of your Flex Pay payments. High-value trips may also be held for review. These will be cleared up before the standard earnings cycle.
- Can I request a cash out via Flex Pay whenever I want?
You can request a deposit via Flex Pay once per day. Any earnings from the past week that you don't cash out by Monday at 4 AM will be deposited into your bank account by the end of the week as usual.
- What about weekends and holidays?
Banks may not process deposits on weekends and bank holidays. You'll be able to request your earnings deposit during these periods, but there may be a delay in receiving the funds.
- Is there a limit to how much I can cash out?
You can cash out at most $1,800 per week in eligible fares.
