- What if I can’t pick up an order?
If there’s a problem, like a flat tire, and you can’t pick up an order, you can cancel the trip in your app. If you or someone else has been injured and you need emergency help, always call the authorities first.
- What if the restaurant is closed when I arrive and I can’t find anybody?
You can cancel the order. It’s helpful to us if you let Uber Eats customer support know that you weren’t able to find someone who works there, so the restaurant can update their information.
- What if I’m waiting at the restaurant for a long time?
When demand is high, restaurants may take longer than usual to prepare the food. If you’ve waited longer than 15 minutes and the food still isn’t ready, you can cancel the order through the app. Tap Excessive wait time when prompted for a reason.
