Driver Announcements

Your insurance protection maintained by Uber.

February 25 / US

We want you to have peace of mind even when the unexpected happens. When you drive or deliver with Uber, we maintain auto insurance on your behalf. By teaming up with top national auto insurance companies, we’re continuing our commitment to keep you covered and help you feel protected on the road ahead.

Changes from one insurer to another

Every year we renew the commercial auto insurance maintained on your behalf, and this year the insurance carrier in your state may have changed. Use the map below or the Insurance hub in the Driver app to see which carrier insures you while you drive or deliver with the Uber platform.

When you are insured1

From the moment you tap GO to wait for a trip request, to while you’re driving to pick up a rider or goods, and until the trip ends, you’re insured as a driver or delivery person.
