Information for driving during the week of the Super Bowl

We’re here to help you plan ahead for smoother pickups and dropoffs at the Super Bowl, as well as other events across Los Angeles.


The Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium

  • The game is taking place on Sunday 2/13, beginning at 3:30pm
  • Fans are expected to be looking for rides from 6:00pm – 11:00pm
  • The event’s organizers will have designated rideshare zones around the stadium
  • When approaching the stadium, you can look for signs around the property and instructions in the Uber app for details on designated pickup and dropoff zones.
  • You can earn $20 on every pickup from designated points around SoFi Stadium from 5:30pm Sunday, February 13 through 11:30pm Sunday, February 13.* For more information, check out your Promotions hub in the Driver app.
  • You can earn $10 on every dropoff at designated points around SoFi Stadium from 12:30pm Sunday, February 13 through 5:30pm Sunday, February 13.*

The Super Bowl Experience at the Los Angeles Convention Center

  • Taking place Saturday, February 6 – Sunday February 7, and again Thursday, February 10 – Saturday, February 12.
  • The area is expected to be busier than usual throughout the day, with events ending around 10pm each evening.
  • It’s expected that attendees will be requesting rides from points near Figueroa St or toward Flower St. 
  • Please note: There will be road closures on Chick Hearn Ct, Gilbert Lindsay Dr, and Convention Center Dr.
  • You can earn an extra $10 on pickups in the designated area around the Convention Center and Entertainment Complex from 9pm – 1am on Thursday, February 10; Friday, February 11; and Saturday, February 12.* Check out the Promotions hub in the Driver app to see where you’ll want to be and when.

NFL Honors at the YouTube Theater

  • The event’s organizers have a designated pickup and dropoff zone on the south side of the property in Lot P
  • Access the pickup zone by taking Century Blvd to Yukon Ave and then follow signs to the dedicated rideshare zone in Lot P
  • It’s expected that there will be a surge in demand from 7:00pm – 9:30pm

Driving with Uber at other events

  • With festivities taking place all over the city, it’s expected that many properties will have special zones for pickups and dropoffs. It’s recommended to use the Driver app for navigation to get the most updated directions and road closures.

Safety first:

  • Help stop human trafficking: If you see something suspicious, please call: 1-888-373-7888. 
  • Smoother trips: Reminder to observe standard traffic laws and follow the directions of parking staff, police officers, and directional signs around special events.
  • Avoid tickets: Picking up and dropping off riders in restricted areas may result in a citation from law enforcement. Please remember that payment for any citations incurred are the responsibility of the driver.
  • Identity check: It’s helpful to confirm your rider’s name to ensure the right person who requested the trip is in your vehicle.
  • 2-way ratings: Your feedback matters. Low-rated trips are logged, and users may be removed to protect the Uber community.
