Introducing Uber Assist

At Uber, we strive to create transportation options that fit everyone’s needs. Today we are announcing a new option that will allow riders needing an extra hand to request safe and reliable rides at the tap of a button, Uber Assist.

Uber Assist is designed to provide additional assistance to seniors and people with disabilities. Driver-partners are specifically trained by a third party to assist riders into vehicles and can accommodate folding wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

• OPEN your Uber app
• SLIDE the button to the ‘ACCESS’ option at the bottom of the screen
• TAP the ASSIST button
• SET your location and request
• ENJOY your ride
