Great service deserves recognition

The Rider Preferred designation is currently available in the following U.S. and Canadian cities: Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis – St. Paul, Nashville, New Jersey, New Orleans, New York City, Orange County, Ottawa, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, OR, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Washington D.C.

Rider Preferred qualification is based on a number of factors, including driver trip count, ratings received from riders, and frequency of rider feedback (including in-app compliments and thank you notes). Drivers may only receive this designation once per calendar year, and a new group of drivers will be recognized twice per year.

Additional $1 for each tip applies only to drivers recognized at this time, and Uber reserves the right to exclude a driver from participating if fraud or any unlawful activity is suspected. Drivers will be automatically enrolled to receive additional $1 per tip in August, with the option to defer to September if preferred.

Terms are subject to change, and Uber reserves the right to end the program at any time.
