Geaux Tigers! The Game Plan for Rides This Weekend
Hey LSU fans, Uber is your go-to app for safe, convenient, and reliable rides in Baton Rouge this Game Day weekend. We huddled up and created a game plan that will provide you with the best possible Uber experience.
GAME DAY PICK UP AND DROP OFF LOCATIONS
In anticipation of traffic and contra-flow measures on main campus roads, we are operating uberX outside the boundaries of Chimes Rd., Nicholson Rd., Highland Rd., and Parker Rd. on Game Day. We are also recommending three different pick up and drop off locations where your uberX ride will arrive more quickly, and get you where you need to go more efficiently.

When you need a ride on Game Day, please request your uberX pickup outside of the “No Request Zone”.
The short walk from Death Valley to one of our designated pickup and drop off areas will ensure that you receive the most efficient service on Game Day. Score!
SURGE PRICING
We are expecting tons of requests this weekend. To maximize the number of cars on the road at peak times, surge pricing will be in effect for much of the weekend (and especially on Game Day). Surge pricing ensures that Uber is always a reliable ride, even on Game Day!
There are no surprises with surge. Here’s how we provide clear price notifications when surge is in effect:
- Select “estimate fare” before you request your ride to see what the trip will cost.
- You will be notified of surge pricing and need to “accept” prior to requesting your ride.
- When multiples get really high, you will have to pass our built in “sobriety test”.
