Spring is finally here! From picnics to nature walks, it’s the perfect time to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. We’ve put together a list of some of our favorite Boston parks to explore while the season calls for it. Catch a ride to one of these lush spots and soak up the warmer weather.

Running for acres alongside the banks of the Charles River, the Esplanade offer visitors everything from jogging routes to sailboat rides.

Boston Common | Downtown

Boston Common takes the cake as this city’s most quintessential park. Take some time out to venture through America’s oldest park either by foot or by swan boat!

Arnold Arboretum | Jamaica Plain

With over 280 acres of land, it’s easy to get lost in the luster of the Arboretum. Take a guided tour and learn more about the the 15,000 plants housed here.

Back Bay Fens | The Fenway

This public park gave rise to the name of its surrounding neighborhood, The Fenway and in turn, Fenway Park. The space is home to diverse natural landscape from a saltwater marsh to flower gardens such as the Kelleher Rose Garden. Be sure to stop by and smell the roses.

What used to be a highway is now one of the greenest places in town. The Greenway offers an urban oasis, stretching from Chinatown to the North End, complete with a carousel and splash fountains.
