Uber driver-partners come from all walks of life. Each one of them has a unique reason for choosing to drive with Uber. You may have heard some of their stories while on a ride. Today we share with you the stories of some Uber Wisconsin drivers who inspire us both on the road and in the classroom.

Meet some of our Uber Wisconsin driver partners who teach in classrooms across Milwaukee!

Andrew_McHugh

School: Allen-Field Elementary
Grade/Class:  1st grade – Bilingual (Spanish & English)

“I like the flexibility with a busy schedule. My schedule’s unpredictable, so I have work or down time at a moment’s notice and I can still use that time to earn. Also, with my availability over the summer, driving makes perfect sense for me.”

– Andrew, Uber Wisconsin driver-partner

Maggie_McDaniel

School: Barack Obama School of Career & Technical Education
Grade/Class: 1st-5th grade – Special Ed

“I love talking to people from all over Milwaukee. I learn from all of my riders – we talk out ideas for the classroom and my kids, and that helps me as a teacher. I love the interaction, and that I can do it whenever I want – which is key to my teaching schedule.”

– Maggie, Uber Wisconsin driver-partner

School: Lincoln Center of the Arts

School: Milwaukee Academy of Chinese Language
Grade/Class: Middle School –  Special Ed

“I drive because it’s flexible. It works with my schedule and my kids, and I can make money whenever it works for me. It’s also so enjoyable meeting people from all different walks of life. It expands my horizons, and that part of driving has really been a blessing.”

– Michelle, Uber Wisconsin driver-partner
