When & Where to Drive


Driver-partners can increase their fares by driving during busier times, particularly during peak hours and on weekends.

Weekend Nights: 8pm - 4am

This periods tends to see the highest rider demand across the entire week as thousands of riders turn to Uber for a ride to get to and from the city from 8pm onwards and into the early hours of the morning.

Weekday Mornings: 5am to 9am

This period captures the morning rush hours when riders in inner suburbs are heading to work and out to the airport.

Weekday Nights: 5pm to 9pm
