Uber One for Students

Uber One is a paid membership that unlocks savings across Uber. For a fixed monthly/annual fee, you get savings on rides and delivery as well as other additional benefits, letting you do more with Uber.

Where is Uber One available?

Uber One is available anywhere Uber is available in Australia. If you’re in an area where it’s available, you’ll see Uber One in the menu of your Uber app.

How much does Uber One cost?

A single monthly membership for Uber One costs $9.99 ($6.99 for students) and an annual membership costs $96 ($36 for students). Uber One renews automatically every month or year (as applicable) and you can unsubscribe at any time. Please unsubscribe at least 48 hours before your renewal date to avoid further charges, or if you are within 48 hours of your renewal date, contact support. You can unsubscribe in the Uber One section of the app or a web browser or by contacting support.

How long will my Uber One membership last for?

Your Uber One membership will last for a month or a year (depending on the membership you choose) and it will renew automatically. You’re able to view your specific Uber One expiry day in the Uber One section of the app.

You can cancel your membership in the app or online. Cancel at least 48 hours before your billing day to avoid incurring the charge for the next billing cycle or contact support.

To cancel your membership in the Uber app:

1. Tap the account icon.
2. Tap “Uber One”.
3. Scroll and tap “Manage Membership”.
4. Select “End Membership” and follow the prompts

Via web browser:

1. Open the link: https://www.ubereats.com and sign into your web browser using your email and password.
2. Open the menu on this page by tapping the 3 horizontal lines in the top-left corner and sign in to your account.
3. Once signed-in, access your Uber One account page in your web browser here: https://www.ubereats.com/au/eats-pass
4. Click on “Manage Membership”.
5. Select “End Membership” and follow the prompts

If you are less than 48 hours before your next renewal, please contact support.

If you’re on a free trial of Uber One and cancel your membership, then your membership benefits will end upon cancellation. For all other memberships, you’ll have access to your membership benefits until the end of the current billing period.

In the Uber Eats app:

1. Tap “Account” in the lower-right corner.
2. Tap “Uber One” and follow the prompts to enroll.

Membership renews automatically. Subject to consumer laws, the monthly/annual fee is non-refundable once charged to you. You can cancel and manage your membership at any time in the app, unless you are within 48 hours of your renewal date, in which case you will need to contact support.

With an active Uber One membership, you should receive the following benefits:

Your payment method can be changed at any time from the Uber One page in the Uber or Uber Eats app by navigating to Uber One under “Account”. Click “Manage membership” to make changes to your payment method.

Any Uber Cash can be used towards this recurring membership subscription. To do so, click Uber One on the Account page of the Uber or Uber Eats app, then “Manage membership.” On that page, you can update payment details to have your Uber Cash turned on.

If we have trouble renewing your Uber One membership with your default payment method, to ensure no disruption in your benefits, we will try to process your payment again using one of the other options saved on your account.

All members will receive Member benefits on rides with the Uber One icon.

Members will receive 5% Uber One credits back on all rides (instead of 10% off each ride) - you can check which benefit you are eligible to receive by navigating to Uber One page under ‘account’ in the Uber or Uber Eats app.

Uber One credits can be used on both Uber and Uber Eats, so you can use it on future trips and orders. Note that there may be a delay between you taking your trip and Uber Credit being deposited into your Wallet in the Uber App. Once credits are added to your Wallet in the Uber App, you can use them on your next ride or order. You cannot earn credits on the portion of your trip that is paid for with Uber One credits. Your earned Uber One credits are listed in the Wallet section of your App as “Uber One ride”.

Uber One credits can be used on the trips or orders of your choice and will automatically be used based on which expires first. Unused credits will expire after 60 days.

Please note that the users subscribed to a partner funded Uber One membership will continue to receive their original benefits until after their free membership offer expires.
