Khush and Michael Singh grew up in Australia working for their father, Chef Ajit Singh. With traditional cooking methods and a passion for authentic Indian cuisine, the brothers developed their father’s recipes further as adults. Together they opened Two Fat Indians in May 2006.

The restaurant name pays cheeky homage to the appetite of the two brothers.

Their Indian restaurant has used delivery for over ten years, both in-house and through multiple delivery platforms. Since joining the Uber Eats platform, they have seen a huge growth in orders. “The volume of orders has been far in excess of any other platform.” said Khush “It’s the most we’ve seen from East Melbourne in ten years.”

Uber Eats accounts for nearly 50% of all delivery revenue and grew by 49% in first 4 weeks. And customers often come into the restaurant asking about the availability of Two Fat Indians in locations Uber Eats is not yet present.

Two Fat Indians used Uber Eats to expand their audience and have built their online menu to cater for delivery. They include three ‘Banquet’ menu items that take the most popular combinations and put them at the fingertips of their customers.

Khush and Michael thrive on the opportunity to meet new people, hear their stories and tell their own. The brothers are a fine example of possibilities of the right story and menu on Uber Eats.
