SUNDAY NIGHT SURGING DEMAND

On Melbourne Cup Day, between 10am and 11am, Partners who came online averaged OVER $100 in fares – not bad for an hour’s work! This can happen when demand for trips is much much greater the supply of vehicles.

This Sunday we are expecting huge demand and potentially lots of Surge in the Western Suburbs.

2 Massive events are taking place – ACDC at Subiaco Stadium and STEREOSONIC at Claremont Showgrounds.

Many roads will be closed so we have organised a special zone where riders can safely request trips using the app. Only Uber Partners will have access to this area making the request to pick up experience as seamless as possible.

DEMAND TIMING

There will be general demand for traveling to the events from Midday for STEREOSONIC and 6pm for AC/DC

PEAK DEMAND WILL BE 9:30PM TO 11:30PM in CLAREMONT and SUBIACO
