THE GOLD COAST IS GROWING UP
On Saturday night we saw the number of trips per hour increase strongly. This is just the beginning. The number of riders on the Gold Coast is growing VERY strongly, see below.
This is a map of users looking at the Uber application – there are more than 50,000 unique views of the Uber app.
LOOKING AHEAD
The next 3 weeks are going to be the BIG on Uber. Why?
1. EARNINGS: A greater number of drivers are earning $30+ per hour (in their pocket) in peak hours
2. RIDERS: Riders are riding more each week due to lunches, Christmas parties & other events!
3. INVESTING: We are investing heavily in growing your business by:
– sponsoring community events
– providing new riders with free rides, and
– assisting local organisations to run events.
UPDATE TO INCENTIVES
In order to continue investing heavily in marketing and growing the riderbase on the Gold Coast, the following incentive change will take effect from Midnight tomorrow (Wednesday) the 3rd of December:
– The $10 per trip incentive will change to $5 for each trip completed
– the $30 minimum hourly average earnings will remain on Saturday nights, 6pm – 2am
