Join the Uber Australia team

Uber launched in Sydney last November with tremendous success, and @Uber_Melbourne joined the fleet in January to show Sydney how it’s done. We’re popular not just with celebrities Lara Bingle and Dannii Minogue on a fancy night out, but also for a quick dash to Maccas.

We will not rest until everybody in Sydney and Melbourne is using Uber to book their limousines and taxis (and even the occasional Boat). So we’re hiring for several roles:

• Melbourne – General Manager. You are a leader, but also an all-star contributor who can pitch in when needed. You’ll own the growth and P&L of Uber in Melbourne.

• Sydney – Community Manager. You spend all day thinking about how to spread the word about Uber, and keep your existing users happy. You are comfortable talking to anyone, and able to source and plan events.

• Sydney – Brand Ambassador(s). We host parties everywhere from Bondi Icebergs to the Opera House, and we sadly don’t have time to attend them all in person to answer questions about Uber. We’re looking for passionate Uber riders to represent our brand in person. Tell us why this is YOU at supportsydney@uber.com.
