You’ve been training for months in anticipation of this weekend, and now the Sun-Herald City2Surf has finally arrived. While the Kms leading up to the Finish are all on you, Uber is here to help you take care of those last few steps.

One thing is certain – Bondi’s going to be a disaster so don’t try and request an Uber there. Given the road closures and special event clearways, we suggest catching one of the frequent special event buses from Bondi Beach (south of Lamrock Avenue) to Bondi Junction Station. From there you can request an Uber, or you can train / bus to the city and request an Uber from there. With the extra buses that the City of Sydney are adding, and the extra drivers we’ll have on the road, together we’ll get you and your weary (but triumphant) legs home.

Communication will be key with 85,000 racers trying to get home! Once you’ve made a booking please speak with your driver to arrange the best place to meet.

With uberX now up to 50% cheaper than a taxi, and a $25 free first ride, we think that’s a pretty good Plan A for Race Day 🙂
