Voters took to Twitter and email yesterday calling on Premiers Mike Baird and Campbell Newman to #chooseuber.

In recent days, Cabcharge, the taxi industry and its associates in New South Wales and Queensland have attempted to scare or intimidate people from using Uber through their activities and comments. The problem is, Australians aren’t buying it.

And there are many more voices like these across Australia.

So, while Cabcharge or the Taxi Councils bully or pay to be the loudest voice in the room, we call on the Premiers, their Ministers and governments to follow the example of the cities around the world that have embraced ridesharing and heed the voices of their citizens instead.

Uber On Australia!
