Partnership in action
Family Justice Centers bring comprehensive support under one roof, helping survivors access services without having to navigate multiple agencies alone. Hope Rides helps to ensure that transportation is not the reason someone misses an appointment, delays care, or is unable to reach safety.
Since launching in 2025, Hope Rides has provided more than 3,000 rides to survivors across 17 states and facilitated more than 30,000 miles of travel. In 2026, the program has grown from 18 to 30 Family Justice Centers nationwide, bringing care within reach for more survivors.
"Hope Rides is more than a ride; it is a critical connection to safety, healing and hope"
Casey Gwinn, President and Founder of the Alliance for HOPE International
Commitment to women ’s safety
Hope Rides is part of Uber’s ongoing commitment to improving safety for women and vulnerable populations on and off the Uber platform. From in-app safety features and reporting tools to education campaigns and global partnerships with anti-violence organizations, we continue to invest in technology and partnerships that help create safer outcomes. Through Hope Rides, that commitment extends to helping survivors reach trusted support when transportation is a barrier.

In survivors' words
If I didn’t have a way to get there, I don't know if I would have ever reached out for help. That ride made it possible for me to take my first step toward safety.
I didn’t have to rely on anyone else or put myself at risk to get help. This made me feel a sense of independence and control again.
