RPT Link
Uber and Riyadh Public Transport (RPT) have teamed up to introduce RPT Link, a convenient program that connects you to public transportation in Riyadh with Uber trips.
Experience seamless first-mile/last-mile service with convenient trips to and from eligible Riyadh Metro and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) stations.
Eligible RPT Link areas
RPT Link is currently in its pilot phase, offering a convenient service to connect passengers to Riyadh Metro and BRT stations within the Riyadh Inner Ring Road service area.
To qualify for a fully subsidized trip, journeys must begin or end within a 3 km radius of a Riyadh Metro or BRT station.
Get Uber rides using “RPT Link" vouchers
How do you know if “RPT Link” is available?
- Open the Uber app and select Account at bottom right.
- Choose Wallet.
- Scroll down and select Vouchers and confirm that the RPT Link voucher appears under “Available.”
Note: Ensure you have a valid "darb" public transport card or a valid bus ticket via riyadh bus app.

- Open the Uber app and set your pick-up or drop-off point to a nearby Riyadh Metro or BRT station under “Where to?”
- Make sure you are within the designated areas to avail the service. Review your pick-up and drop-off locations to make sure they’re correct.
- Select RPT Link as your ride option.
- In the payment options, select the RPT Link voucher and ensure it is valid. Before selecting Choose, make sure the voucher is valid for the trip (you’ll know it’s valid when RPT Link appears at the bottom of the screen and the regular market recommended price for the ride is struck through)
Note: The voucher is available within a specific time frame, 7 days a week from 6am to midnight. A rider can use the voucher for a maximum of two trips per day. If the trip doesn't meet the program criteria, the payment method won't show RPT Link and the voucher won't apply.

- When requesting a trip, locate the RPT Link voucher at the bottom of the screen and select it.
- Switch the toggle next to the voucher to the Off position by swiping it left.
- Choose X at the top left of the “Payment options” screen to finish requesting your ride and standard market pricing.

RPT Link vouchers are valid 7 days a week from 6am to midnight. Eligible trips must start and/or end within 3 km of a Riyadh Metro or BRT station.
On eligible trips, riders may receive a fully covered trip when they claim and apply the voucher. Tipping is optional and not included with the voucher. These benefits are restricted to a maximum of 2 rides per rider per day.
Once the rider requests an eligible RPT Link trip through the Uber app, the RPT Link option will reflect the applicable value when a voucher is claimed. This option and terms are subject to change or withdrawal at any time, and without notice.
By accepting the voucher, you acknowledge and agree to the sharing of your personal information with Riyadh Public Transport to improve the service. This includes your full name, email address, and travel details (approximate pick-up and drop-off locations, travel dates and times, zones, and Riyadh Metro or BRT station used). This data will be used solely for enhancing the program and assessing ridership performance.
