How are trip fares calculated?

Each trip fare is calculated in a simple way:

Base fare + time + distance

In some trips, the final fare may also include:

  • Surge pricing
  • Tolls or other fees

What each part means

Base fare

This is the initial amount charged when a rider requests a trip.

Time and distance are added to this amount.

The base fare depends on the type of service you are registered for.

Time and distance

The longer the trip or the more kilometers you drive, the higher the fare.

Surge pricing

During high demand, the app may apply surge pricing.

This means:

  • There are more ride requests
  • Trip prices increase
  • You may earn more per trip

Surge pricing only applies to some services and is always shown before you accept a trip.

Other fees

Some trips may include additional charges, such as:

  • Tolls
  • High-congestion zones

These fees are shown in the trip receipt.

Important: Before accepting a trip, the app shows the available fare information.
