Discussion panel

Technology that changed our lives is a panel in which different technology leaders will talk about how the companies they represent have transformed the Latin American landscape for good.

From digitalization to financial inclusion, while talking about advancements in mobility and in food supply and creation, panelists will speak on how the region has changed during the last decade and how it has experienced a true tech revolution by becoming and essential part of our everyday life.

Alehira Orozco

Directora de relaciones con gobierno de Mercado Libre

Alehira asumió el liderazgo del área de Relaciones con Gobierno en Mercado Libre en 2018 y ha sido protagonista del crecimiento de la empresa en México.

Es vicepresidenta del comité de relaciones con gobierno de la International Chamber of Commerce México (ICC), vicepresidenta del Comité de Servicios Financieros de AmCham, vicepresidenta de ITF's en la Asociación Fintech México y fue presidenta de la Asociación Fintech de México hasta 2021.

Cuenta con más de 15 años de experiencia en el posicionamiento de políticas públicas, relaciones con gobierno, cabildeo y comunicación política. Fue directora de asuntos corporativos y comunicación para L'Oréal México, gerente de políticas públicas y relaciones con gobierno para Uber y directora de asuntos públicos en Polithink entre otros cargos.

Es Maestra en Administración de Empresas por el EGADE Business School y licenciada en Ciencia Política por el ITAM. En 2021 fue becada para participar en un curso de liderazgo y negociación de la London School of Economics.

Federico Hirtz

General Manager for NotCo in Mexico

With a career of more than 18 years in global consumer goods companies in Latin America, he has held various leadership roles. Since 2022, he has been General Manager at NotCo Mexico, a leading Foodtech company in the Latin American market. Before this, Federico collaborated with companies such as Pepsico and Procter & Gamble. Additionally, he has contributed as a professor at the University of Buenos Aires and has worked on economic and environmental development projects at Fundación Pensar.

Mariana Serrano

Central Operations Director in Uber LatAm

With more than a decade of experience as an executive in the technology and innovation sector, and an outstanding track record since joining Uber in 2015, Mariana leads and oversees Uber's operational priorities in Latin America, encompassing strategies for regional demand, product management, expansion, budget, customer experience, data analysis and planning. She has held diverse roles within the company, including Uber for Business, Product Management, Customer Service, Ride Sharing and User Experience. Before her career at Uber, she collaborated with companies such as McKinsey & Company and Grupo AESA.

Moderator | Ana Paula Ordorica

Opinion leader and columnist in the newspaper El Universal, where he writes the weekly column "Broojula" that addresses national and international political issues. Additionally, she is the host of the podcast "Broojula", where she analyzes the daily news from Mexico and other countries in less than 20 minutes in a concise and insightful way. Her experience extends to the conference, where she has shared her knowledge of domestic and international politics. Ana Paula is also the author of the book "2012: Los Dos Punteros. Dos Conversaciones" and has coordinated the book "Uno+Uno: 32 Líderes Sumando por México". With a degree in International Relations from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM), Ana Paula Ordorica is a prominent figure in the world of communication and politics.
