Becoming a delivery partner
To get started, download the Uber Driver app. Once you have created an account and uploaded the required documents, it will take up to 72 hours for these to be reviewed and verified. Then, following completion of a road safety quiz, your account will be activated within 72 hours and you will be ready to start delivering once you have accepted the terms and conditions. When you’re ready to drive, just tap Go on the home screen of the Uber Driver app.

- Delivery vehicles
Down Small Deliveries using vehicles for private use are not permitted by law. Motorbikes over 125cc and light vehicles must be reported as "light motor truck transportation businesses".
"All-electric bicycles" and "pedal-powered electric bicycles (mopeds)" are treated as motorized bicycles, not bicycles, under the Road Traffic Act. Therefore, these vehicles must be registered as motorized bicycles if they are used for deliveries. If you operate these vehicles on public roads, you are required to obtain a driver's license, a license plate, and liability insurance. In addition, you need to obey the same traffic rules as motorized bicycles, including wearing a helmet.
If you are found to be using an “Specified small motorized bicycle," "all-electric bicycle," or "pedal-powered electric bicycle" when you have registered as a "bicycle" for deliveries, your Uber driver account may be suspended in accordance with the Uber Eats Community Guidelines. We appreciate your understanding.
- Kickboards and skateboards, whether motorized or human-powered, cannot be used for deliveries.
- Bicycle Registration for Anti-Theft Purposes is required by law. Please make sure to register your bicycle for Anti-Theft Purposes.
