Nine celebrities in total, will take on a new role as Uber driver partners for a one-day exclusive on 9 September, from 9 am to 6 pm. Request an UberCELEB then get ready to feel like a superstar as your celebrity picks you up in a luxurious Mercedes-Benz. In addition to numerous selfies which you’re free to take with your celebrity driver, you might be in for a duet with a heartthrob pop star, a beauty tip exchange with a top female actress, or even a comedy session with a TV show host.
Mercedes-Benz is an official Uber partner for UberCELEB, providing riders with a luxurious experience at affordable uberX prices. For example, to go from Sathorn to Thonglor would only cost 70 baht.
Ready to ride with an UberCELEB?
- If you don’t already have the Uber app, get it here or download it from the iOS AppStore or PlayStore
- Open up the app on September 9 & choose the UberCELEB option
- Set your pickup location and tap request
- Get picked up by a celebrity & enjoy a private meet & greet!
THE FINE PRINT
- UberCELEB will be available on September 9, 9am – 6pm.
- Each ride is limited to 30 minutes and your destination must be within downtown Bangkok. In the event that your trip exceeds 30 minutes, you’ll have the option of requesting UberBlack or uberX to continue your journey at no additional charge, up to 500 baht.
- 3 passengers per ride maximum, so you can bring 2 friends along to share in the excitement!
- UberCELEB rates are the same uberX rates (25 baht + 2.50 baht/km + 1 baht/min).
