#Protips for this festive season
As the city gears up to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, we’re committed to #KeepMumbaiMoving, especially at times when getting around might be a little difficult. We’ve put together #Protips to make your experience more convenient and hassle-free during the festival.
Here’s your quick ride guide
RECOMMENDED ROUTES
Due to heavy pedestrian and vehicular traffic during Ganpati Visarjan, the Mumbai Traffic Police has released a route map to help riders navigate the city as the streets erupt in celebration. In all, there will be a closure of 49 roads across Colaba, Pydhunie, Kalbadevi, Malabar Hill, Tardeo, Byculla, Bhoiwada, Dadar, Matunga, Chembur, Trombay, Ghatkopar, Mulund, Santacruz, Dindoshi and Kandivali.
PLAN YOUR TRIP
Certain traffic restrictions will be imposed on the 18th, 21st, 23rd and 27th of September, from 12 noon to 6:00 am. During these times, we forecast a higher volume of requests. Do check the app for availability and plan for longer ETAs due to congestion.
