Nearly 300,000 people drive drunk every single day1. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We believe that when empowered with more transportation options like Uber, people make better choices that save lives and are committed to help drive down these heartbreaking statistics.

To honour the commitment, this Global Be(er) Responsible Day, we partnered with Ab Inbev to install innovative breathalyzer kiosks at CyberHub, Gurgaon and raise awareness about the fatal consequences of drunk-driving. These breathalyzer kiosks will measure the alcohol content in the user’s breath and if the amount is over the legal limit, Uber will provide a free first ride2 back home. That’s right! We have made getting a safe ride home, after that fun evening, easier than ever.
