Airport rides just got cheaper!

We’ve heard your questions, feedback and all the confusion, about our flat rates to and from Chennai International Airport. As a result, we removed the flat rate to make it just like any other Uber ride in the city. So, while we can’t vouch for the amenities on your flight, we can ensure you ride to and from the airport comfortably, on-time, and in style. Effective today, the flat rate to the airport is removed and the fares would be calculated henceforth on the basis of our existing pricing with an automatic additional surcharge for service and parking fees:

Base Fare: ₹75.00

Per KM: ₹18.00

Per Minute: ₹2.00

Airport Service Fee : ₹100.00

Summer is upon us and as you head out for that well-deserved holiday, let Uber be the least stressful part of your amazing trip. Enter the code AIRPORTCHENNAI in the Uber app to get ₹300 off your next ride to or from the airport. This code is valid from 21st to 27th May 2014.

Thanks,

Uber Chennai Team
