At Uber, we strive to create transportation options that fit everyone’s needs. Getting from point A to point B has been made easier, with affordable transportation options available at the tap of a button. But, for some this might not be as easy. Which is why we’re excited to partner with MPHASIS, a pioneer in supporting accessibility of persons with disability through its CSR and diversity initiatives, to announce a new product option that will allow riders needing an extra hand to request safe and reliable rides at the tap of a button — uberASSIST.

uberASSIST is an option, with our regular sedans, designed for riders who may have different accessibility needs, older adults, and those who may just feel more comfortable with an extra hand when getting from place to place. Driver-partners will provide door-to-door service, helping riders to enter and exit the vehicle.

How it works 

• Fire up your Uber App
• Slide over to the ‘uberASSIST’ option at the bottom of the screen
• Enter your drop off location and request

Price

uberASSIST is priced at ₹19.5 per km.
