The Destinations

Ranjit Singh War Museum

A well kept & maintained museum reflecting the rich history of Punjab from the legendary Punjab warriors to the recent Kargil war. You can also have a view of the warcraft & other war equipment used during war time.

Lodhi Fort (aka Rang De Basanti Fort)

This fort got its name from the Lodhi dynasty which ruled the region and is locally known as the Purana Qila or Old Fort. This one lies within the vicinity of the city so one can have a quick catching up the local history.

Nehru Rose Garden

This is a tastefully landscaped garden right in the center of the city housing a variety of roses. The garden is spread across 30 acres of lush green land which also makes up for a lovely picnic spot or a nice evening walk.

Gurdwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib

Is a beautiful Gurdwara situated close to the railway station amidst the old city. It is one of the first Gurdwara to adapt modern technology within its premises. You can listen to the live prayer service HERE. This one’s definitely worth a visit.

Rakh Bagh

This one is a modern garden where locals come to enjoy their evenings. You can expect some activities around the amphitheatre and enjoy the toy train ride within the garden premise.

PAU Museum

This one’s among the landmark within the widely spread University. Enter the PAU gates and be ready to experience large green expanses with beautiful roads & a well planned university within.This museum gives you some insights to the rich culture & tradition of Punjab.
