Mysore, we’re just getting started!

One year ago, we launched Uber in Mysore with the vision of creating an efficient, convenient and elegant transportation option. Since that first trip, we’ve provided an increasingly affordable way to move around the city and brought entrepreneurship within the reach of every individual.

The foundation stone has been cast. Miles of relentless execution lie ahead. We’re just getting started and here is a look at our journey so far.

Mysore never stops moving, and since launching in 2015, neither have we. The pace of adoption in Mysore has been remarkable, and there is yet more to come.

People want to use Uber in Mysore, and we are here to make sure each of you gets a ride at just the tap of a button. Each dot represents the location of the first time a unique user opened the Uber app in Mysore during one week in June 2016.

While reliable and affordable rides remain our top priority – we still love putting a smile on our community’s face. We’ve provided you with Ice Creams, Cookies and Holi hampers on-demand, showered you with movie tickets, and gave you an opportunity to meet The Maharaja!

DRIVER GROWTH OVER TIME

This positive change couldn’t have happened without our driver-partners. They’ve covered a lot of ground in a year, and earned meaningful income along the way. Last year many couldn’t even imagine operating a smartphone. Twelve months on the Uber platform, they are entrepreneurs who are now able to build a secure and prosperous future for their families.

It’s been an exciting ride this first year, and we’re looking forward to many more.
