When it comes to immediate assistance, speaking to someone is key. Introducing the Uber Safety Line as part of the Safety Toolkit. In the unlikely event that you feel unsafe on trip, speak directly to our safety incident response team.
When to call
Here are some instances during which you can reach out to us through the Uber Safety Line:
- Altercations with your driver
- Midway drops or route issues
- Rash or drowsy driving
- If the driver doesn’t match the profile shown on your app
In case of emergency, dial 100 assistance from the in-app Safety Toolkit to speak to the police.
Access the Uber Safety Line
- On trip, open the Uber app.
- Select the shield icon on the map.
- Tap on Uber Safety Line.
- Swipe to call.
