How airport trips work
1. Accepting and taking trips happens the same way as usual.
2. The app will show you where your local airport’s approved pickup or dropoff location is. It might be different from where you’d go if you weren’t driving with Uber; airports sometimes have designated zones for Uber and other ridesharing services.
3. If you’re dropping off a rider, you can ask them if their flight is domestic or international and what airline they’re flying, then you can look for signs that match what they tell you.
Shift system
At the Bonilla Aragón Airport we have set up a ‘virtual queue’ where the first driver-partners to enter the area are the first to receive a service.
Please note the following conditions, which apply to all members who want to wait for a service at the airport:
- Once you enter the area indicated on the map that appears on this page, you will enter your turn, regardless of whether you enter with a trip on board or not.
- To keep your turn you must stay in the zone. If you leave it, you will lose it.
- If you receive a trip request and the user cancels, we will respect your turn.
