Václav Havel Airport Prague was inaugurated in 1937 and has since grown to be one of the most important airports in the Czech Republic, seeing more than 15 million passengers every year. Prague Airport is located about 18 kilometers (11 miles) to the west of the center of Prague, making it about a 30-minute Uber trip away.
