Belfast City Airport visitor information
Belfast City Airport opened in 1938. It was renamed George Best Belfast City Airport to commemorate footballing legend George Best, who was born and grew up near the airport. BHD is located approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles) east of Belfast’s city center.
