In-app safety features
At Uber Eats we encourage all delivery people to report unsafe locations to take necessary precautions and prevent potential incidents.
Reporting unsafe locations:
If you feel there is an area that is an unsafe location to pick up from or deliver to, you can report this in-app under the ‘Help’ section, tap ‘Safety’, and next select ‘My delivery location was unsafe’ to report the area or visit t.uber.com/unsafelocations.
Use the app to access your Safety Toolkit and features like
In-app emergency assistance: for safety and medical emergencies only
Location sharing: share your live trip status with friends and family
24⁄7 Support: contact us for assistance
Proof of trip status: show law enforcement your current trip status
Don’t type & drive
A new feature has been launched for all two-wheel delivery people. By limiting intercom distractions while you are driving, you can concentrate on the road ahead of you.
Always report any incidents to Uber to help keep you and others safe.
