- Born to network and negotiate. If there’s a major event in town, you know about it and know how to get an invitation and build your contact list.
- A people person with persuasive communication skills and you have what it takes to interact with people and win over strangers. Awkward is not how your friends would describe you!
- An exceptional communicator, both verbal and in writing. You are comfortable to giving a 30-seconds Uber elevator pitch to a stranger, cold-calling festivals or events and you are able to communicate to different types your audiences and adapt your message
- A doer. You are always on the move: dynamic, active, energetic. You love to make things happen and build something out of nothing and you do not take no for an answer
- A multi-tasker. You are great at multi-tasking and executing simultaneous projects and activities. You can prioritize high impact activities to keep projects moving forward
Your responsibilities
Background:
- 1+ years of relevant experience in event coordination / organizing (volunteering not only counts, but is highly appreciated)
- You are a student in your last year of studies or recent graduate
- You have the ability to work under very tight timelines without compromising quality
- You have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet targets
- Great team player and proven collaboration & leadership skills
