Important update: New way of working for independent couriers

Dear courier,

On 27 November 2024 we informed you that Uber Eats in the Netherlands is making changes to the way you work on our platform. Going forward we will only work with staffing agencies that supply Uber Eats with couriers. This means that Uber Eats will stop partnering with independent couriers from the beginning of 2025.

This change is a result of evolving legislation. We have always prioritized flexibility and choice for couriers like you, but due to recent developments in Dutch laws and regulations, it is now necessary to make this change.

To whom this information applies

The information on this page only applies to couriers who have received a notification of this via a personal email. These are couriers who have been active via Uber Eats as an independent contractor or via a fleet partner. If you have not received any personal notification from us on this matter, then the information below does not apply to you.
