New UberBLACK Prices – and Cheaper Airport Trips!

Since launching in KL a year ago, we have sought to provide the people of KL with safe, efficient and reliable transportation options, across multiple price points, to suit various needs. In line with this, the UberBLACK option was designed to allow KL-ites the option to travel in more comfort and luxury with a higher level of service, at very reasonable rates.

With the rider experience firmly at the forefront of our priorities, we have and will continue to regularly invest in the necessary infrastructure and systems in order to ensure that riders have the best possible experience on the Uber platform. Since its launch, we have lowered UberBLACK prices by 35% to allow more people to try the full Uber experience.

As we continue to invest in safety, we want our Partner Drivers to be compensated for their hard work and efforts.  In line with this, the following new UberBLACK prices will come into effect on midnight, Thursday, 5 February 2015.

Our goal is to always connect you with the best quality drivers in KL. On UberBLACK, you can expect to be driven by our highest rated partner drivers in more comfortable cars. Best of all – your UberBLACK ride will still be cheaper than taking an Executive Taxi!

We know you love riding in comfort to KLIA on UberBLACK – so as a sign of our appreciation of your continued support, we are reducing the flat rate fare for trips to or from KLIA, as follows:

This updated price will apply for trips requested after midnight, Thursday, 5 February 2015.

With effect from the above date, all successful referrals using your own promo code (which can be viewed from the “Share” tab in your Uber app), will earn you RM15 worth of Uber credits, upon them successfully requesting and taking their first ride with Uber. This change shall come into effect immediately.
