Thanks to your overwhelming response, we are bringing Ace back for a second trial period. Read on to find out about the changes we’ve made to the incentive.

As an Ace driver-partner, you will be rewarded with earnings based on trip tiers, ensuring that your take-home net earnings are more stable without the stress of varying fares and incentives. Our highest tier rewards up to RM2,040 in net earnings per week!

How it works

Maximum top-up: 30% of weekly net earnings

Your Ace tier is determined weekly based on the number of trips you complete during that week. If your net earnings* for that week are lower than those outlined for your tier, we will top up the difference or 30% of your weekly net earnings, whichever is lower.

Simple as that—No complicated T&Cs such as acceptance rate and minimum rating requirements.

*Your net earnings for each week are calculated as: Gross Fares – Uber Service Fee + Boost/Quest Incentives. Referral incentives and toll fares are not included as part of the net earnings calculation.

Examples

Example 1
You complete 120 trips this week and earn RM1,000 in gross fares (RM750 in net fares after service fee) and RM200 in Boost/Quest incentives. You are in the Gold tier for the week and we will top up RM150 so that you earn RM750 + RM200 + RM150 = RM1,100 net. You are given the RM150 top-up since this is less than 30% of your weekly net earnings of RM950.
Example 2
The following week, you complete 100 trips and earn RM1,000 in gross fares (RM750 in net fares after service fee) and RM100 in Boost/Quest incentives. You are in the Silver tier for the week. Since your net earnings of RM750 + RM100 = RM850 are higher than RM720, there will be no top-up.
Example 3
In the third week, you complete 145 trips and earn RM1,200 in gross fares (RM900 in net fares after service fee) and RM200 in Boost/Quest incentives. You are in the Platinum tier for the week. Although your net earnings of RM1,100 (RM900 + RM200) is RM440 lower than your Ace tier’s net earning of RM1,540, we will limit your top-up to RM330, which is 30% of your weekly net earnings of RM1,100. This will give you a total of RM1,430 (RM1,100 + RM330) in take-home earnings.

If you would like to receive the full top-up, simply increase your weekly net earnings by completing more trips. For example, if you complete your 146th trip during the same week and earn an additional RM20 in net earnings from the trip, we will increase your Ace top-up to RM1,120 x 30% = RM336.

Frequently asked questions

Who is eligible for this programme?
This programme is currently in its second trial phase and is open to a selected group of driver-partners from Klang Valley and Seremban for now. If you are selected, you are automatically enrolled into this programme and will receive an SMS, email, or in-app notification from us.
How long will this second trial period last?
This second trial period will last for 6 weeks starting from Monday, 8 January 2018.
Which trips are included as part of the weekly minimum trip requirement?
All completed trips on uberFLASH, uberX, uberXL, and UberBLACK are included. Weekly earnings are calculated from Monday 4am to Monday 4am of the following week.
Are the programme’s structure as outlined in the table above the same every week?
As Ace is still in its trial phase, we may make changes to improve the programme for the better experience of everyone. We will notify you of any changes via SMS, email, or in-app notification.
What are the other terms and conditions?
Uber reserves the right to withdraw, amend and/or alter any part or the whole terms and conditions of this program at any time without prior notice. We also reserve the right to withhold or deduct payments that we determine or believe were in error, fraudulent, illegal, or in violation of driver terms or these terms. Terms subject to change.
