You can now show your appreciation for going the extra mile by tipping your driver directly through the Uber app after the trip has completed. A tip is an extra way to say thank you to a driver that’s gone above and beyond the usual expected service.
Did they use a shortcut to save you time when you were in a rush? Maybe they kept you entertained the entire way home with a stand-up routine worthy of a comedy club? Show your appreciation with a five-star rating and a tip at the end of your journey.
How it works:
- Add a tip after rating your trip.
- Select from a range of preset amounts or enter a custom amount.
- Tap Done to send your tip.
*Download the latest version of the app. In-app tipping is only valid for users who have selected a card as their preferred payment method.
