We’ve been cooking up something new. An app that makes getting great food as easy as requesting an Uber ride.

Starting at lunchtime today, Mancunians can download the UberEATS app and order local favourites on their smartphone (available for iOS and Android), or by visiting ubereats.com. Powered by the same convenient and cashless technology that helps you to get from A to B, UberEATS connects you to dishes from over 100 top restaurants, including foodie favourites Barburrito, Northern Soul Grilled Cheese, The Alchemist and many more.

Manchester is the second city in the UK to get UberEATS, following London in June 2016. The UberEATS app has now launched in over 60 cities in 21 countries around the world.

How to order:

  1. Download the free app or go to ubereats.com to find what you’re craving.
  2. Sign in—you can use your existing Uber account for UberEATS. New to Uber? Creating an account is easy.
  3. Tell us your delivery location – add your home, work, or any other address you’d like.
  4. Browse local restaurants – search for your favourite local restaurant or try something new.
  5. Check out with a tap – pay with your card on file.
  6. Track your order – watch as your order gets picked up and delivered right to your door.

UberEATS gives people, restaurants and delivery partners more options. Restaurants can depend on the Uber delivery network to expand their businesses and reach a new network of potential customers. And delivery partners have access to new flexible economic opportunities.

UberEATS is available from 11am to 11pm, seven days a week—giving Mancunians great food at the touch of a button with no minimum order size.

The service will initially be available in city centre hotspots such as the Northern Quarter and Spinningfields, leading south down Oxford road towards Rusholme and Fallowfield. UberEATS will arrange delivery of lunch, treats and dinner to Mancunians with the same choice, convenience and value we’re already known for.
