Keep calm and share your journey

With the tube going out of operation from around 6pm this evening, demand is set to soar as more Londoners request an Uber to get them from A to B.
We’ll be doing everything possible to help you get where you need to be!
Check out the demand heat maps from last year’s tube strike to see the busiest times and areas for requests.
During the morning rush hour, the highest demand will be in residential areas, including Kensington and Chelsea, Clapham, Fulham and Battersea, as well as the major train stations, such as London Waterloo, Victoria, Paddington, Marylebone, Kings Cross and London Bridge.
The evening rush hour starts in earnest at 5pm with highest demand will come from Soho, Mayfair, the City, Clerkenwell and Canary Wharf, as well as around the busier train stations, such as Vauxhall.
PRO TIP: The busiest times will be during the morning and evening rush hours so travel earlier or later to beat the crowds.
Do your bit for your fellow Londoner: share your journey with a friend or colleague
There are a whole three seats going spare if it’s just you and your driver travelling. Organise to share an Uber with a friend or a colleague heading in the same direction – you can split the fare in-app and you’ll be freeing up a car for another commuter. It’s win-win!
