Uber started in San Francisco in 2009 to solve a simple problem: how do you get from point A to point B at the touch of a button? More than 15 billion trips later across the world, we are building products to help people earn with flexibility, go anywhere, and get anything.

Since launching our Mobility business in the UK in 2012, Uber is now a licenced Private Hire Operator in over 60 towns and cities with 5 million people regularly using the app across the UK. Over 90,000 drivers currently earn with Uber, receiving worker protections such as holiday pay and access to a pension.

This report provides Uber’s Gender Pay Gap for our UK entities that meet the threshold for reporting. It covers two cohorts of individuals: 1) Drivers on the Uber Platform and 2) Uber Employees.
