Demand is high in Central London, especially during the evenings at weekends. This new promotion means drivers who confirm and complete a high number of trips can unlock a reduced 15% service fee in zones 1-3.

How to unlock this incentive

  • Starting today, confirm and complete 70% of the trips offered to you in any area of London and at any time of the day over the next 7 days. That means confirming and completing 7 in 10 trips that are offered to you, for example.
  • We’ll exclude any cancellations made by the rider.
  • You’ll need to confirm and complete a minimum of 15 trips in total during the 7 days.

What are the peak hours for the promotion?

Peak hours are:

  • Monday to Friday, 7am– 9am
  • Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10pm–6am

The incentive will be available on UberX, XL, Access, Assist, Pool only. Not available on Exec and LUX. 

Where will the promotion apply?

This will be available to you within the promotional zone, which approximately covers London Zones 1-3. For reference, this includes:

  • All streets between the North Circular and the River Thames
  • Ealing and Chiswick in West London
  • Down to Wimbledon, Crystal Palace and Blackheath in the South

Frequently asked questions

How will you know if you're eligible?

You'll receive an email from Uber every Monday to let you know if you met the above requirements in the previous week, and are eligible for the incentive. We'll also send you a message in your Uber app every Friday to let you know how you're doing during the week.

Where can I access information about the promotion in-app?

We previously told you this would be visible in your Promotions section in-app. This is not the case. All information about the promotion is available in this post, but should you have any further questions, please visit the Help section in your Uber app. 

Does this mean the Consecutive Trip Bonus is now finished?
Yes – the Consecutive Trip Bonus promotion is now over.

What will the service fee be on Pool trips during peak hours in the promotion zone?
For Pool trips we now have a Variable Service Fee. The new Variable Service Fee is linked to our ability to match trips. It is lower in cases where we can’t find you a matched trip (with extra fares), and higher where we can. The service fee for Pool trips will be updated for each requesting rider and you can see the trip fare and service fee in the Waybill.

Terms and conditions for the promotion: This offer is only for active partner-drivers who directly received the offer email from Uber. Eligible trips must be completed within the time periods specified within the offer email. We reserve the right to withhold or deduct payments that we determine or believe were in error, fraudulent, illegal, or in violation of driver terms or these terms.
