What is your role?
I’m super lucky to work within the Community Engagement team where I have the opportunity to work with partner-drivers first hand.
What’s your team’s role?
Our team is dedicated to the needs of drivers. We want to ensure, whether it’s a partnership, event, or round table, that we’re always listening to feedback and improving how we communicate with you.
We also work on the UberENGAGE pilot programme, built and launched with drivers from across the UK, to give you a greater voice in the business. Drivers on the Advisory Board also hold Office Hours in the pilot cities, which means all partners can get feedback directly to our London team.
How does your role help drivers?
My role is to ensure drivers are feeling satisfied with their partnership with Uber. We’ve increased the number of events we hold in each city, strengthening the relationship between drivers and their local Greenlight Hub. Over the last couple of months, over four thousand drivers have come to an event. This is huge, and we’ll continue doing high impact events in the communities we partner with.
What’s your favourite part of your job?
The best part of my job is hearing feedback from partners, and knowing they feel closer to other drivers due to the events we host.
What project have you been most proud to work on this year?
Bringing together drivers from different areas, cultures and faiths to celebrate Ramadan is one of the most fulfilling events we’ve done. These events were held across the country and the immense feedback was so positive. Thank you to all the partners who attended and showed true community spirit!
