How to request an UberPOOL

Request
Open the app and select "uberPOOL." (To ensure there's room in the car for other uberPOOL riders along your route, there's a two person maximum per ride request.) You can see your fare and estimated arrival time before you request.

Share your ride
We match you with riders heading in the same direction. You can track your driver on his or her way to you. Then hop in when they arrive.

Hop out
Simply exit the car when you reach your destination. We’ll automatically charge the fare to the credit card you have on file.

Is there room for my luggage?
Yes, but the amount of available space depends on the car and number of riders.
How long will it take to pick up another rider?
Pickup should be quick. On average, riding with UberPOOL adds only a few minutes to your overall ride time.
I was picked up first. Why was I dropped off second?
Pickup and drop-off order is determined by where your destination falls along the route, not the order of who was picked up first.
