6. Cherry Blossom Watch at High Park

The High Park Nature Centre has a yearly tradition of watching as the Sakura trees located in the park flower. The peak bloom, which is when most of the pink blossoms are open, occurs only once a year, usually between late April and early May. This is a unique for nature lovers to celebrate Mother’s Day outdoors, with an indescribably beautiful cherry blossom background. As an added bonus, High Park is open 24 hours a day, every day, and is completely free of charge.
