Uber Lounge at the Santos Dumont Airport: The space provides the you with WiFi access, phone chargers or simply a place to relax until your car arrives. Getting to the lounge is simple – when leaving Santos Dumont’s arrivals area, just make a left and keep walking for about 3 minutes.

UberPOOL Lounge near Barra game venues: The UberPOOL lounge will serve as the main pickup point for UberPOOL riders traveling from near Barra game venues. Within the Uber lounge, you will have access to free wifi and charging stations. See tips for requesting your car  from this and other important venues here. Flat fare to Barra and back: uberPOOL trips that start in the Center,South and North Zones, and end near the Barra sports venues, will have a fixed price of R$25. To return from the sports facilities paying the R$25 fixed price, you just have to walk to the uberPOOL lounge and request your car. 
Connect to free wifi around town: No data plan, no problem—start riding with free wifi. We’ve teamed up with iPass to get you access to 1,350 hotspots all over Rio.

Check the price: It’s no surprise there are more people in town than usual. And more people in Rio means more demand for rides. Dynamic Pricing shouldn’t be a surprise. Confirm your driver: Make sure you don’t walk into the wrong car. Confirm your driver’s car model and license plate in the app before you hop in your ride. And if you’re still not sure, you can always send a message or call your driver.Contact your driver anonymously: If you can’t find your driver or want to share more pick up information, call or text through the app — your number will always stay anonymous. By tapping the “Contact” button next to the vehicle information and the driver’s name, users can communicate with the driver through the app by message before each trip – all it takes is to have access to mobile data or WiFi.Split your fare: If you do choose to travel in an UberBLACK or uberX, you can always use fare split if you’re rolling with your squad.Send your status: Let your friends know exactly where you are. Send trip details –– which includes your estimated time of arrival as well as your driver’s first name and vehicle information –– to friends or family directly through the app.  Whoever uses Uber in Rio de Janeiro will be able to share their route in real time with 5 of their pre-selected contacts with only two taps on the app with the SafetyNet tool.Contact support: If you forget one of your items in your ride, get in contact with Uber or your driver directly. To help lost items be returned to their owners Uber will offer dedicated bilingual support (English) in August.

Assistance in the language of riders’ choice after each trip: In case you need specialized assistance or want to give feedback, you’ll be able to do it in your language, since support representatives will be ready to answer in the language of the 70 countries where Uber operates around the world.
