It’s no secret that since UberEATS came to Melbourne nearly a year ago, local residents have embraced a new way to get the food they love.

Whether it’s a meal for loved ones prepared by the local family-run Italian, dumplings and rice paper rolls for a night in with friends or a fully loaded burger with all the trimmings for a Friday Netflix and chill, Melburnians sure do have an appetite for restaurant-quality food delivered to their home, office or wherever they happen to be.

Today we’re super excited to be making eating at home an even more enjoyable experience, with the launch of alcohol delivery via UberEATS in Melbourne. Now UberEATS fans can get a bottle of wine or six pack of beer delivered with their meal from over 20 of their favourite restaurants.

“Many of us enjoy a glass of wine or beer when dining out, and now we’re pleased to bring the same restaurant experience to homes across Melbourne. Whether that’s a glass of Merlot with a steak or a beer with your burger, Melburnians can now effortlessly pair their most-loved UberEATS meals, with their favourite drinks.” – Jodie Auster, General Manager, UberEATS Melbourne.

The first round with Carlton Draught and UberEATS is here!

To celebrate the launch of alcohol delivery on UberEATS in Melbourne, we’re stoked to be partnering with Carlton Draught to help bring the ‘first round’ of the AFL season to your door.

Kicking off at 5pm on Friday 24 March (until stocks last!), you and your friends can order a Footy Feast from select restaurants on UberEATS, including a freshly brewed Carlton Draught four pack with some of your favourite meals during game time of the AFL first round.

Specially brewed for UberEATS restaurants, these four cans of Carlton Draught are some of the freshest beer in Australia. Brewed the day before, you have the chance to enjoy beer fresh from the brewery to your mouth.

All you have to do is kick back with your mates, enjoy a feed from one of the participating restaurants on UberEATS, crack open a fresh can and get excited for some footy!

“There is no better tasting beer than fresh beer, and what better way to mark the start of the footy season than with a brewery fresh Carlton Draught. Carlton Draught prides itself on being the freshest beer in Australia, and we want to celebrate this by delivering that brewery fresh taste the day after brewing through our partnership with UberEATS”. Richard Oppy, Marketing Director, Carlton & United Breweries.

The Footy Feasts will be available from select restaurants on UberEATS in the following suburbs: Melbourne CBD, South Melbourne, South Yarra, Windsor, Prahran, St Kilda, Balaclava, North Melbourne, Kensington Collingwood, Richmond, Carlton, Fitzroy, East Brunswisk, Thornbury, Kew, Balwyn, Hawthorn, Hawthorn East, Malvern, Glen Iris, Caulfield, Elwood, Port Melbourne.
