Music has the power to turn a stressful morning commute into a peaceful journey or an uberPOOL into a dance party. We know from your feedback that easy access to high quality music makes a difference and that struck a chord with our team.
So with the help of several drivers, we designed a new feature with Pandora in the Uber Partner app so you can enjoy seamless, personalized music throughout your day. Now drivers in the United States, Australia and New Zealand can play music from their favorite Pandora stations, for free and without advertisements,* while they drive with Uber.
We’ll start rolling out this feature this week so keep an eye out for a message in the Uber Partner app. To get started:
- Connect your phone to your car’s Bluetooth or AUX and set the stereo as needed
- In the Uber Partner app, tap the “Play Music” button on the map
- Log in or create a free Pandora account
- Pick your station and enjoy!
With Pandora integrated directly into the Uber partner app, everything you need to play music, discover new artists, and save songs is all in one place. There’s no need to bounce back and forth between apps or fiddle with the radio. And with Pandora’s endless stations right at your fingertips, you won’t have to worry about ads, interruptions, or repetitive songs.
To celebrate we’ll also be hosting events at selected Greenlight Locations in the coming weeks. Now you can start and end every day on the right note!
*Music is ad-free through 12/28/2016 or while supplies last. Visit uber.com/pandora for more details.
