We know that you’ve felt the sting of rising and volatile fuel prices, which has affected how much money you’re taking home.
In an effort to recognise the impact of uncertain fuel costs, Uber introduced a Temporary Fuel Surcharge on your behalf on 30 September 2022. Until further notice, riders will pay you a surcharge of 3 cents per km (inclusive of GST) on every passenger trip and 100% of it goes directly to you. This means that you’ll get about an extra 25 cents on an average length trip*.
